my son is almost 15 , and he  had to have a physical, this past weekend at the  school...
he told me that he failed depth precption test during his eye exam..
What does this mean??  he also has been telling me that he has trouble with the overhead in class and sits in front row,,   this is all news to me...ofcourse it goes without saying that he needs his eyes checked...but could someone educate me real fast on what may be going on...

                        Thank you   lisa smith

He needs a complete exam with an ophthalmologist.  He may very well need glasses and I would just leave it at that for now.  There is a possibility he may have a lazy eye or amblopia in one of his eyes since his stereo or depth perception was off.
