Fingers & Muscles

I am having a problem with my fingers. When i use strenght with my fingers example undoing hard screw with a screw driver using tools like drill or mallet all of a sudden i have to drop the tools and my fingers will wrap to my palm hand and it will be very difficult to re open my fingers. After i manage to open my fingers i have to hold them against the wall for about 20 minutes. Afterwords all my muscles all over my body will suffer from spasam. I also realised recently sometime when i cough i feel like a lightening through my body always from top to the bottom of my feet.
Thanks

Ok, fine.

I was suspecting you might have hypokalemia, but some bloodwork was surely done during your doctor visits, I guess.

Is there any reason you posted in gastrointestinal forum?

I also believe that neurologist considered possibility of TA complications, so, I can only try to list some other causes:

1. Another TA: CT would maybe show that

2. ALS:

3. Multifocal motor neuropathy:

4. Isaac syndrome:

I believe it is muscular or neurologic disease. It could be also hormonal disease or electrolyte disturbance, but in these cases, you'd also have other symptoms.

You had neurologic examination done, now I think you need neurologic investigation - measurment of various muscle/nerve parameters with instruments.

OK, alow me few more questions:

Have you visited a doctor from December?
Any change at urinating (amount, anything)?
Anything regarding heart?
Feeling constipated or occasional diarrhea?

It started December of last year while i was doing some maintinance at home. The worst when i do work with my hands especially when i use a screw driver my fingers will close and it will be very difficult to keep the staight i have to hold them against the wall or other surface for about 20 minutes both hands. The skin colour does not change. Spasms in all muscles including my neck, hands, back area, front area and feet and when i rest on the bed also cramps in my musclesin both feet. These last years in summer i suffer from muscle cramps in my feet especially when i am resting in bed also sitting on a chair longer than an hour and while driving. In winter only somtimes.I never had any bacterial infections. Other symptoms, recently it happened 3 times when i cough i feel like a lightening through my body always from top to the bottom of my feet. I was always very stong and healthy, i am 59.

When exactly these spasms started? Your medical history in short?

Spasms are only in hands, one, both hands, feet...? This only happens during work or also in rest? Skin color changes during spasm? Spasms progress to other body parts with time? Other symptoms? Have you had bacterial infection like food poisoning in the last months?
