Single white pimple on scrotum

by newguy47, May 12, 2008 05:44PM
A long while ago (perhaps three or four months), I received unprotected oral sex from a female (just for clarification, I am male).  After realizing the riskiness of such behavior, I became more conscious about my penis.  To this day, I have no physical symptoms whatsoever: everything is as it used to be.

However, I noticed that there is a single white pimple or wart (I don't know the difference) on my scrotum.  It is located on the right side, in the front about midway down from the top of the right testicle.  It is not very large: it is roughly .5mm across.  The head of the pimple is solid.  When squeezed, the pimple does not hurt anymore than it would if I were to pinch any other part of my scrotum.  I have not attempted to puncture the pimple.  Aside from this pimple, there is nothing I can detect to be out of the ordinary.  Also, I have never shaved anywhere near my genitals.

Do I need to be worried?  I do not have health insurance and cannot see a doctor at this point.  I would be deeply grateful for any help given.

I just wanted to comment that I do not remember when it appeared: I only noticed it after receiving oral sex.

It might be a wart, and you should call an std clinic or Planned Parenthood for low cost care.

I have seen pictures of genital warts and it does not appear to be that way at all.  There is no cauliflower-like texture or appearance.  I have read that this could just be a pimple or in-grown hair, but would like some more opinions.  I do not trust having records kept on me and would like to avoid any clinic visits.  I am aware that I will eventually have to be tested, but at this moment am uncomfortable with the idea of visiting a clinic.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts.

there really isn't anything else we can do for you.  At this point you need a professional exam and evaluation.
