Is it oral HPV?

by Mae008, May 12, 2008 10:10PM
Hi,
I have a problem that's become worse, after oral sex about 3 months ago I started noticing a dryness and tightness around my mouth and lips that went away for a while then small pimples would pop up then dry up. This has left dark marks that haven't disappeared and now if I don't moisturise the area around my mouth and some near the nose becomes very dry and scabby. I've been embarassed about going to my doctor, do you have an idea what this could be..? I'd really like to know before going for that visit. thanks.

Oral warts caused by sexual contact are highly rare.  See a doctor to confirm what this is.
