White-ish pimple on gums.

This is the 1st time I've gotten something like this, a single white-ish pimple located high on the top part of my front teeth. I started to feel discomfort a couple days ago and today i noticed it was like a pimple, so I took the toothbrush and scrubbed it and it bled a little bit and then rinsed with listerine. Can something like this happen out of no where is this a sign that something is wrong? I was at the dentist about 3 months ago and had xrays done and everything was fine.
