How long does he have?

My grandfather has stage 4 cancer, starting with lung cancer but spreading (FAST!). hes 87 years old and in the last 3 days has gone from being able to walk to not being able to move from bed, feed himself, and barely talk. he sleeps constantly. i know he will, how long do you think it would be?  just want a estimate..

Hi.  If he's not able to get up from his bed and sleeps constantly, I don't think he's going to last much longer. It's really hard to make estimates, but from the information you provided, he may not last until the end of this month if his condition progresses.  Do keep him comfortable for the remainder of his days.  If you have trouble taking care of him, I suggest that you contact a hospice center to assist you in caring for your grandfather.
