My fertility doc was male and I loved him! if you are not seeing an RE you should. They know a lot more about stuff like PCOS and fertility than just an ob. Have you seen a fertility doc yet? I just ask because they are all about getting you pregnant. I had my first visit with mine in Dec. and by Jan. he was doing the laproscopic surgery to remove my cysts and doing ultrasounds to check my tubes, ovaries... He did comprehensive blood work on me and my husband. He was going to start me on clomid in May, but then my thyroid failed. My fertility doc knew how much I wanted to have a baby and did not make me wait around-he was very upfront and honest about what he thought I should do. I don't even see my regular gyno anymore. I see my fertility doc and my RE.
So are you on any meds yet to treat your PCOS? If so, what? Did he see the cysts through a vaginal ultrasound? Don't worry-you will get pregnant! And when we do we will just really appreciate our babies even more because of what we had to go through to get them!! Stay positive. Ashley
