i was diagozed 5 yrs ago with herpes,two days ago i had sexual intercourse and the condom bursted/broke,but he immedially came out,is it possible that he might have contracted it?

I assume you are talking about HSV2  ?
Providing you were not having an active outbreak I would say the risk factor is low.

Just to put it in perspective, if you had sex with him 3 times a week for a whole year without using condoms (but abstaining during outbreaks) the chance of transmission is less than 10%.

Therefore this is pretty low risk. If you continue with your partner, consider going on daily anti-viral therapy to prevent transmission. Anti-virals + condoms = VERY VERY low chance of transmission.

Assuming you are female, the risk is 4% over the course of a year.

The 10% stat that Scared gave you is for male to female transmission.
