white patches under foreskin?

by threenorns, May 13, 2008 07:42AM
i posted this as "other" since i haven't a clue what it is.

my bf has not been faithful - he claims he has (gets quite shirty about the subject) but there have been wierd goings-on that have told the tale (car seat reclined too much, long blonde hair on it, when he supposedly only gave a lift to a black man at his work, takes 3hrs to buy a loaf of bread, "working late", "working early", rushes out of the apartment when he gets phone calls, keeps his call list *selectively* scrubbed - ie, i know he got a call at 3pm because i heard the ring but there is nothing on the list between when i called at noon and when he called his boss at six, etc).

because of a very high risk pregnancy and hard recovery after delivery, we didn't have sex from nov 06 to june 07.  i was subsequently diagnosed with trichimonas.  he has no idea how i got it, he insists he caught it from me, that all he'd had before we had sex was a persistent yeast infection.

yes, darling, i'm a total moron and of course i have perfect faith and trust in you.

anyway, now he is back using the monistate AND canesten.  he wanted to get "cuddly" but having learned my lesson, i insisted on taking a look first.  his foreskin is reddish and puffy-looking, sensitive to roll back, and he has slimey-looking, web-like white patches underneath.  he said it's been a problem for a long time.  there was no odour but he'd just washed with soap - he said he has to wash frequently to keep the smell down.

what on earth has he possibly got this time?

It sounds fungal, and the stuff he is using will help.

Why are you still with a man you clearly don't trust, and who clearly doesn't respect you?

the monistat and canestan aren't helping - he's been using them for over a month.

as for why i'm still with him, i'm a sahm - i am NOT going to go stomping off in righteous indignation because all that happens is i get screwed and so does the baby.  this time around, i'm working a plan - i haven't said anything to him but he has until i've saved a certain amount with my little wahm job and if he's still using his ears from between his butt cheeks, he'll come home to my forwarding address pinned to the door.

LOL good for you.

If the monistat and canesten aren't helping, then he probably doesn't have a fungal infection, or he needs a different antifungal.  I don't suppose he'd go to the doc again?
