ok Drum roll please....
Lyme IgG/IgM Ab my result is  <0.91   Index says : 1.09 is positive
Lyme Disease Ab Quant, my result is <0.91 with the same index as above
so therefore no treatment for lyme was neccessary based on my results but my results for ebv were high, and this mean I have ebv or mono.

EBV Chronic/ Active Infection results:
Ebv Early antigen Ab I 284  normal range 0-99
EBV Ab VCA, IgG 3777      normal range 0-99
EBV Nuclear Antigen Ab, 613 normal range 0-99
Interpretation: SPRCS.... now can somebody tell me what all this means thens there a chart that doesn't help any better.

Well the new symptom is ringing in my ears both of them feels like the pain is meeting in the middle of my head, saturday nite, I was working on my sermon, and starting getting dizzy really bad , and vision was shot to heck, I told my husband felt like blood or water was runnign out of my ears they were huritng so bad, he said I caouldn't even sit up on the side of the bed, and passed out, for about an hour, and I just kept rolling back and forth and shaking my leg, and I don't remember nothing, not one thing except telling him somethign was coming out of my ears... anybody else having these problems with bad vertigo.

Good news I go to my 2nd neuro on Thursday so kinda hopefuly, and anxious... I just want answers... is that asking to much, i definetly feel like it cost too much...lol

Have a blessed week everybody,

Hi,  I don't think I have met you yet.  Nice to meet you!

Your episode scares me.  It sounds like you might have had a seizure.  Have you ever had an EEG?  You need to be sure to tell the new neuro about this episode.  I have had strange parasthesias but never lost consciousness or had episodes of time missing.

I will be praying for you to get some answers.  Sorry I cannot help with the EBV tests but I think another member here has EBV.  Her name is "want to feel well" or Wanna.  You should contact her to see what her experience has been.  Also, Quix is our resident expert MD, she knows everything!!

Good luck Thursday and I will be thinking of you!

I have to agree with Kristin in that you have to let your specialist know what happened to you Saturday Night!  It could very well have been a seizure as you don't have any recollection of what happened other than the feeling of liquid seeping from the ears.  I have had seizures and I don't recall anything from them...did you have any severe muscle pain when you got up?  Sometimes during a seizure you posture (bending feet straight out while prone is a sure sign) and this in turn causes all of your muscles to "seize" and it feels like you have climbed a mountain the next day because you are sooo sore.  Even if you don't think that a seizure occured, an EEG is a good idea that you should mention if the new neuro does not.  Seizures can occur in MS albiet rarely but they do happen and it's important to find out what this was all about.  Please let us know how you make out and we are 100% behind you and we support you all the way ok?

Lots of Hugs,

Rena

All I can tell you is that my EBV was 2110 and my CMV was off the charts high as well. My doctor then ran a PCR test to determine if the virus was awake or asleep. Mine were asleep. Unfortunately it is not uncommon to have high EBV and CMV titers with autoimmune issues and when your body is stressed.

I had terrible ringing and dzziness and the feeling that warm water was running out of my ears back in Dec and Jan when I was really symptomatic.

Maybe someone else can explain the labs I am only familiar with western blots and the igg and igm and the specific bands and how they relate to lyme.

Hang in there.

I have had an EEG done because of the seizures but of course it came back normal, but the 1st neuro put me on Topamax; I take 75mg in am and 75mg before going to bed.  Hopefully Quix will see the entry and have some input.

Thanks,
Vessel
