muscular torticollis surgery

by shrekfiona, May 13, 2008 12:13PM
my son has ROM of 45 degrees & head tilt of 20 degrees due to muscular torticollis on his left side. PT didn't work, he is not a good candiate for botox treatment due to his age (almost 3) & fibrosis. Is surgery only treatment left for him? Can he be corrected Full ROM, no tilt? what shall we expect post op & recovery? how long?
