Strange Bumps On Shaft of Penis

by PlzNoStdz, May 13, 2008 05:21PM
Hi, I am 19 years old and I have been sexually active with only 1 partner for a year and a half.  We frenquently have unprotected sex, and there has never been any problems until recently.  I recently noticed a hard pimple-like bump on the shaft of my penis, on the bottom side near my scrotum.  At first I thought it was an ingrown hair, because there is some hair in that area, however it became hard, and it has been there for 2 weeks.  Im pretty sure it isn't an STD, but i have no idea what it is.  It appeared after we used Lube during sex, which we do not normally do.  Just a day ago it seems there is a 2nd bump growing right next to it, almost connected.  The appearance of the bumps is slighly red, when squeezed it looks like there is white stuff inside, but it is too hard to pop.  They are also fairly large, the size of a large pimple.  Hopefully someone knows what this is.  Thanks for reading.

Furthermore I was reading about lymphoceles which sound somewhat similar to my symtoms, and I read that there can sometimes be creatinine discharge when a lymphocele is drained.  I am a weight lifter, and I have used creatine on and off for the past year, is there any way creatine could cause a lymphocele, since creatinine is a by-product of creatine phosphate and such?  However, i dont think I have a lymphocele because from what I have read, those are normally close to the glans on the penis, and my bump is at the bottom of the shaft, far from the glans.  Just figured I'd add as much info as possible so someone can try to diagnose these scary bumps.

I don't know enough about creatine use to comment on that part, but you really should stop squeezing at this, and just get it checked.

It doesn't sound like an std, but that doesn't even matter.  You need to get it checked.

Do normal physicians even have enough knowledge about this stuff to diagnose it or is it best to see a specialist?

Depends on the GP.  Some will.  You might try an std clinic.  They are usually up on all these things.
