herpes from mouth?

Hello doctor.Last wednsday i met an excort and we did safed sex.oral and vaginal sex all covered with condom.So no risk.but there was deep kissing beetwen us.This morning i wake up with a burn on my lips and i saw about 5 little white dots at the bottom side of my lips.it's also true that last weekend i had trouble of my stomach, so maybe they are just afta.But i'm afraid about Herpes simplex of the mouth.I contact the escort's agency and they said that the girl is completly save because she did check very recentrly.But who knows the true?Could be that herpes?Thanx in advance and sorry for bad english.

What you describe sounds unlikely to be herpes which would typically present with small. painful or uncomfortable, blister-like lesions.  In addition, statistically it is somewhat likely that you already have HSV-1, the virus that causes cold sores (that is what we're talking about here) since about 60% of all people do, even if they do not remember having cold sores.  If you, like most people already have HSV-1, then this offers protection against further infection from others

My advice - if you are still worried, get a herpes culture from the sores you describe (if they are already gone then it certainly was not herpes).  Personally however, I would not worry about it and move on.  No other sort of testing is warranted.  Good luck.  EWH
