Does someone with heart problems and depression have black and blue elbows for no apparent reason. She did not hurt herself.

I am not aware of such findings being associated with any of those conditions.  If she is on ASA or other blood thinners it is conceivable that she may bruise easily causing these findings.  Otherwise, I am not sure how to link those.
