My 6 year old niece, nadia, has had excessive coughing, and has thrown up alot since age 2. she just recently started coughing up blood. i live in fl, but she lives in colorado. she's never seen a dr about this, but it seems pretty seriouse. maybe if i knew what was wrong with her i could convince her mom to take her to the hospital. any ideas as to what may be going on with her?

If she is coughing up blood, she really needs to seen by a MD. That is not normal. It could be a number of reasons why and needs to be checked by a MD and can be treated correctly.
