ok.. i am 17 years old and have been in a relationship for over a year now, my boyfriend is the ONLY sexual partner i've had. Just recently i just started to experience some symptoms that include: lower abdominal pain that goes down my leg, gassy and bloated, when i was supposed to have my, instead it was VERY light, brown discharge for a few days and sometimes a little spot of blood.. i have always had a very normal period with cramping and i did not experience any of this.. i also occasionally experience vaginal discomfort.. oh and VERY tired all time. i am extremely scared and do not know what to do?? Could I be pregnant?? An std?? I just need the help of a reliable adult who knows what they are talking about!!

You could be pregnant or it could be nothing.
If you are experiencing cramping and light/unusual bleeding around the time your period should come, that might be implantation cramping or implantation spotting.  You can google them for more information.  Your bleeding does sound like it might be that.
Fatigue is another early symptom of pregnancy as well.  You might also feel gassy and bloated as well.
Of course, it does also depend where in your cycle you are experiencing these symptoms.

I don't know much about STDs but any pain or other symptoms should be monitored closely as well.

You might want to take a pregnancy test once now and then again in a week or so.
If you are having implantation spotting now, that means the egg has just burrowed into the uterus and will start producing the hormone for the pregnancy test.  So in a week or so you should know for sure.

With all this said though, your symptoms could ALSO be nothing at all.  And your stressing out about this might be delaying your period more or causing you the discomfort.  It's never a 100% certainty with these things.

Good luck, and I hope everything works out for you.

I would strongly recomend a pregnancy test if you are not comfortable buying one then defenetly see your doctor. remember there used to dealing with all sorts and there is nothing to be embarresed about. At the same time you need to be more careful. I imagine your doctor will tell you this but there is a reason they invented condoms and birth control. I went on the pill at 18 when i had my first proper relationship and sometimes there are alot of plus sides to using it (if it works for you of course, there are so many different varieties). anyways I hope you find out whats up.
