skin problem with the penis, PLEASE HELP

by hc69, May 15, 2008 01:32AM
when i was small i had balanitis, but i had fix this problem myself by pulling the foreskin back and washing it everyday.

The problem is that there were still small dots on the surface of the back of my penis that won't go away. and the surface of that part of my skin hurts and its so uncomfortable like inflammation when it has contact with friction. The only way to make it better is to pull my foreskin forward covering that area. its ok with everyday life, but what am i going to do if i want to have sex when it requires me to pull the foreskin back?

I went to the family doctor and he said its fine and that theres nothing to do, but i think its not fine because its not suppose to feel uncomfortable like that. Am i suppose to see a dermatologist or a urologist instead?

If theres anyone that can help or have any advice, i would be greatly appreciated

thank you :\?

Hi

How old are you?

Is the pain persistent or is it something that goes away from time to time?

Try to observe the pain and determine the factors that trigger it. Are there any rash or scars in the area? Do you see any wound or cuts in the area?

If this continues to be painful, I suggest that you seek consult with a urologist or dermatologist for this. The area itself is very sensitive and mild abrasions on the skin may cause pain. Do not apply any lotions or creams without informing your physician about this. Also, wash the area only with a mild and bland cleanser to avoid any further irritation.
