heart palpitations while hr elevated

by sunshine2424, May 15, 2008 07:26AM
Here is some background info: I am 21 yr old female. I have 3 kids.  I was pregnant when I was 15 , the age of my kids are 5, 2, and 7 months. While prega=nant with my 3rd I started getting palps and shortness of breath at 5 months.  I saw a cardioologist.  They did an ultrasound of my heart , many ekgs and holter moniter and found nothing wrong.  After my daughter was born i no longer have unual shortness of breath, but i still get palps.  I am always stressed but i get them mostly while i am working out.  I eat about5 small meals a day, drink only water , no tobacco, drugs, alcohol, caffeine....  even during sex with my husband i will get them.  I am not on any meds.  I am thalisimia (spelling) anemic, and i was born with hydronephrosis to my left kidney.  I had recent bloodwork that came back normal for kidney function, normal tyroid ect.   My bp is normal but on the lower side i think.
I am leaning towards going to see a cardiologist again. I used to and started working out about 4-5 times a week lifting weight and cardio but my body cant handle it due to palps.  Thanks!

Don't hesitate to go to a Dr if you think something is wrong.
I stopped working out hard because of my PVC's. My Dr' said I could do anything but when I get my heart rate up it seems to bring on more PVC's. So I just take things a little slower now,but I'am also alot older than you.
