Just an update!!

I went to the doctors yesterday for my 14 week check up.  Everything went really good.  We got to hear the heartbeat again.  I think I am going to have a wild child though.  When the doctor would try to hear for the heartbeat, he would find if for a split second and then the baby would move.  This game of chase went on for about 3 minutes.  At first I was really worried because he kept moving the doppler all around, and no heartbeat.  Last time he put the doppler to my stomach and it was right there, and really loud.  But he finally got it and the hb was 144.  Does anybody know if that is suppose to be a girl or a boy???  When we went for our u/s at 7 weeks it was the same rate.

My baby's heart rate was 144 too!   Glad everything is going so well so far.  Sounds like you have a busy baby!

Glad you got to hear your babys heart. Sometimes i wish mine was more active. With me the babys heart is found so quick. So im guessing my baby is going to be lazy lol Ive heard that if your baby's heart rate is below 150 its a boy and above 150 its a girl. It hasnt been confirmed but some Doctors belive its true. Mine has always been in the 160's. Who knows, but 2 more weeks for me and we will see what we can find out!!!

Ahh it sounds like you might be having a girl.  What are you guys hoping for??  That is so cool that you get to try to find out in 2 weeks.  My doc is making me wait until I am 20 weeks.  I cant wait.  So I am guessing you and I have the same due date.  It will be exciting to see who pops first, lol.  
I am glad that my baby seems to be really active.  But at the same time if it continues to be really active, I wont be getting much sleep anymore.

Yeah i think so...actually since i found out i was pregnant its been in my head that its a girl. Not sure why!!! We are not really hoping for one or the other, i mean its our first child and well after trying for 6 years wether its a girl/boy its a big blessing. OK OK well maybe i do want a girl but a boy will be fine too : ) I think i have felt the baby move but since its my first i dont know what its suppose to feel like, but i swear it was the baby!!! So its a little active but not as active as you!
Yeah we will see OMG im so excited, can it be November already!!!

I am the same way, ever since I found out I have it in my head that it is a boy.  I have already been buying some boy cloths.  I couldn't help it, everything is just so cute.  But if I end up having a girl, one of my close friends is having a boy at the end of June.  So all of it could go to her.  I really want a boy.  But I hope he isnt a little terror like my bro was.  That is the only thing that scares me.  
I am so happy for you, I couldn't imagine trying for 6 years.  It is kind of funny how it worked out with me and my husband.  We both really thought that we couldn't have kids with out any help.  We have been off of any kind of birth control for 4 years.  And nothing unexpected happened.  But at late February we started talking about our options as far as fertility drugs.  But little did we know I was already pregnant.  When I told my husband the news, all he kept saying was stop lying.  The nurse had to bring the test in to show him.  And you could see the tears in his eyes.  It was so cute.  
Ok sorry I went on and on.  But I wish November would hurry up, also.  It seems like time is going by so slowly.  But then again I am scared to death of going in labor!!  OMG and then Delivery.

I been wanting to buy girl stuff but im scared that if i end up having a boy, what will i  do with everything. I do find myself searching the internet for girl stuff, like crib set, strollers, all girly stuff. I look at boy stuff too but mostly girl stuff thats for sure. Yeah well even before we got married we wanted kids but we wanted to be married first so we waited till we got married, but it didnt happen right quick like we thought. Actually i was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic ovarian syndrome) so i have never been regular. The part that i think is weird though, is the way i found out i was pregnant was i was having surgery you know you get those screenings done before, all kinds of blood work including a pregnancy test. Well a day before my surgery the surgeon calls and tells me that i cant have surgery, he said one of your test came back positive, i was like positive for what?? he said  your PREGANT!!! What.... i couldnt even believe it. I was at work crying, in shock!!! What was weird to me was that the first day of my last cycle was 10/29/07. So all those months i was like well there is no way i can get pregnant. I havent had a normal cycle since then. I was wrong. On March 5th i found out i was pregnant. I didnt call my hubby right away. I dont know how i did it but i waited till after work (i had a few hours left at work) went to the store bought a card and a balloon that said a new baby on the way. Got home asked where he was at, told him to close his eyes. He was like whats going on. Then he opened the card and read it. He couldnt believe it, he was like you lying son of B****. He was like your lying, i was like nope im not i swear. I was crying and he was too. It was the best moment of my life. I told him im not having surgery, i cant we are having a baby!!! OK sorry since you told me your story i had to tell you mine. Yeah labor, oh no delivery!!!  Im sure we will be fine. Once we have our baby in our arms we will think all that was so worth it.
