by Crittle86, May 15, 2008 11:55AM
As most of u know my b/f was dignosed with HPV so i've got it too..... I have been getting UTI's  alot and have been treated for them but they always come back which i was told is normal...but my question is i've been reading about symptoms about HPV and one was burning when u pee..which i have....I can go for 2-3 days with out the urge to go pee and no burning like everything is normal but somedays it will hit me that i have the sensation to pee and it burns for awhile then stops...so my questions is.............

* Is this just more recuring UTI's or could it be the HPV..?

thanks so much for all ur anwsers.. :)

Sounds like recurring UTI's.  I knew someone once who got a UTI every time she got her period.  Never failed.  She was on antibiotics all the time.  I really don't think this is hpv related, never heard of burning while peeing with it, I've never had that anyway.

Why don't you try the old standby - cranberry juice - daily.  Make sure you keep yourself clean, shower and pee after sex (or at least wash up), wear only cotton undies, don't wear too tight pants.

I also saw a commercial last night for an over the counter UTI medication.  I don't know if it works or how good it it, but you might want to look into it.  They may sell it at CVS.  I'm sure a health food store would have something as well.

Once a person gets UTI's, they often come back.  Sort of like yeast infections.  You just have to kind of let your body run it's course until they all go away.  Eventually they will go away but it takes time.

a very good product i've used called Kolorex is homeopathic herbal supplement that helps to restore the natural ph balance in the vagina of candida.it is sold at health food stores...take with food..once a day...not cheap $30 a bottle but helped me tremendously with yeast infections.also helps if b-friend has clean hands b4 sex.....lot of bacteria on the hands that thrives in moist darkness!
