Nervous System Disorders

by Rana7420, May 15, 2008 12:53PM
My son has been diagnosed with Sensory Integration Disorder.  He went through Interactive Metronome therapy February-1st week of April and had vast improvements in mood, concentration, focus, and handwriting.  His teacher and his Dad and I marveled at the changes.  In the six weeks since he was released from OT, he has totally regressed.  Handwriting is bad again, focus and concentration have gone back to pre-metronome levels.  Is there a nervous system disorder that may explain why he lost so quickly what he had gained?  He never has problems going to sleep and staying asleep, but he is over hyper when awake.  Thanks.
