Hi all. I am 59 and have had PAT since I was 17. But over the last year or so I have been having lots of skipped heart beats but only after eating lunch. I also have a lot of gas so I burb a lot right after lunch. I am wondering if anyone can help. thanks. This has stoped me from eating dinner.

I have PVC's and alot of us have an increase in palpitations after eating or after eating certian foods. The two things that help me is gas-x and zantac. If I'am having a particularly bad time I take the gas-x 4 times a day before each meal and before bed. I will also take zantac before breakfast and before dinner. Just for a couple of days till things settle down. I also try not to eat a large amount of food at each meal. You can also try to figure out which foods tend to make you more "gassy".  There is definately a connection between my stomach and my PVC's.
