Exfoliating to remove blemeshes, good?

by enz660, May 15, 2008 05:37PM
I don't really want to resort to going to a dermatologist and putting tons of chemicals into my system to get rid of acne and scars, I was wondering if I constantly exfoliate, removing the dead skin layer by layer, would the scars eventually surface at which they would be exfoliated away? How long would this take? Are there some easy ways to remove these scars? Thank You.

It is not always necessary to see a dermatologist. Your regular doctor should be able to prescribe a gel such as Differin which will exfoliate your skin.
If you are looking for a shop-bought product, try Bio-oil.
