Eye Twitching

by lyndielou, May 15, 2008 05:44PM
Over the last year I have had a bothersome twitching in my right eye that involves the eyelid and now affects my cheek and corner of my mouth. should I be concerned about this or will this just go away eventually?   Thanks

If it is just a occasional bout of small twitches that is not so worrisome, but if serious twitching of lid, face, mouth, you could have hemifacial spasm which could require a neurologic workup and possible treatment.  So I guess it depends on the severity of the twitching.  If is like you say, you should probably see a neurologist.
