benign myoclonus of infancy ?

I'm a physician, with an 11 month old male infant.  In the last 4-6 weeks I have noticed, about once daily, a shrug of his shoulder.  It generally happens while he is sitting at his high chair (could be excitement ?)  and it is unilateral --always the Left Shoulder.  It looks like a 'shrug' but I'm calling it a myoclonic movement.  I have never seen any abnormal movement with his head or eyes, there is never any associated noise, or loss of consciousness and he doesn't appear to have any pain or fatigue associated with it.  The movement occurs very quickly, just one second is often only a single shrug, but sometimes I've seen multiple.  He has been progressing normally with his developmental milestones.  I believe an EEG would be the next step, or does this sound like it is not on the spectrum of a neurological concern.  Thanks,
