hcg protocol and alcohol

I know in Dr. Simeon's and Trudeau's protocols, you are to avoid sugar and starch--I assume that drinking alcohol fall into these categories as substances to avoid for success on their plans? I would appreciate any comments regarding the topic of alcohol in regards to Simeon's and Trudeau's protocols and hcg injections.

It is supposed to be avoided during phase 2 but it is recommended to use occasionally for stress relief after completing phase 2.
