Discharge after pregnancy

by akkm8608, May 16, 2008 01:29PM
I had my baby almost 4 months ago, and I have been having a yellowish kind of vaginal discharge since he was born. I also sometimes feel a kind of pain...almost feeling like its in the muscles.  I have seen my doctor 5 times since the baby was born and tells me everything seems to be fine and that I am just still healing, but I just do not feel like I should still be healing after this long. Is this normal? Or is something wrong with me?

Hello,

Without examining you it would be unfair for me to say.  If you are not comfortable with your doctor's assessment seek a second opinion.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
