Lorazapam and problem with saliva glands

I am in the process of weaning very slowly off of Lorazapam. I was taking 1/2 mg. 3 times a day under a doctors care.
It is very upsetting to see so many others that also want off this horrible medication. I do have a very real anxiety problem but will find other ways of dealing with it. As for now most all I read of others trying to come off the anxiety medications is take it slow. My question is has anyone experienced a change in saliva. After I eat my glands become larger than they reduce in size. My mouth can have a thin pasty feeling. When I tried to come off the Lorazapam to quickly my mouth dried right up and hurt, I was having bad anxiety because I was coming off too fast.
It is either the Lorazapam that has altered my salivia glands or a few months ago I was on Protonix and that altered the Flora in my mouth. I am using Acidopoholics to regain any imbalance. Anyone with this problem please help with advice. My mouth is better since I stopped the Protonix but I need to get back to what it was. I can not eat Carbs or any kind of sugar without a set back so I am pretty sure it has to do with imbalance in my system and thinking back I believe this started when I first started the Protonix.
