How long will ther be blury vision

I recently had a sharp pain in my left eye, it felt like I got punched in the eye.It got worse and gave me headaches so I made an eye appt. I have a strained muscle with blurry vision he gave me eye drops and said that it would clear up, that was yesterday and my vision is still horrible. I was wondering how long I would have the blury vision??
