feelin a little off......

my husband and i had sex 3 days after my period last month and he ejaclated inside, then we had sex a few days later but he didnt ejaculate that time inside. i was just wondering what my chances could be....i had indijestion twice which i never had before, extreme gassiness, fatigue, peeing every hour, sore breasts. hot and flush, then later a little chilly.the weird thing to me is that i always get the stringy egg white discharge while ovulating, like clockwork, and i cant recall seeing any this month...??? then this morning i woke up and thought i had a yeast infection, just by the way it felt. but turns out no discharge or anthing, was just a little irritated down there for some reason, almost seems as tho hormones are up, not sure if it is period hormones or pregnancy.....due tomorrow but no cramps or anything. can some of you just let me know what you think or share personal stories that resemble mine, thank you.

Hello,

If indeed you are trying to get pregnant, good luck.  Just a piece of information for you to know about the timing of intercourse around ovulation and the likelihood of conceiving:

A woman with a regular menstrual cycle ovulates near the middle of her cycle.  In a 28 day cycle this would be around day 14.  The probability of becoming pregnant after unprotected intercourse is 15% 3 days before ovulation, 30% 1-2 days before ovulation, 12% the day of ovulation, and <1% 1-2 days after ovulation.

You should wait to see if your menses comes on time.  If not, check a pregnancy test.   If negative, repeat it one week later.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing

You can't know for sure until you test.  Some of your symptoms are promising, like the gassiness, fatigue, and frequent urination.  I am not sure about the feeling of a yeast infection, I personally have not experienced that in either one of my pregnancies.  If AF is due tomorrow then you are probably safe to test tomorrow first thing in the morning. Good luck, and I hope that it turns out the way that you are hoping it will.

I am one of those that has symptoms before a positive pregnancy test.  Yes, you could be pregnant, but your symptoms could also be for other reasons.  You really should do a HPT, tomorrow morning, first urine.  Even if it comes back negative, you could still be pregnant, so best to start treating your body lie it is.  Good luck to you, I also hope you get the results you are looking for.
