Are you able to urinate at all?

If you have not had any prior surgeries to your pelvic floor? If yes, then you need to consider the possibility of the surgery contributing to the difficulty with urination.

If not, then the possibility of a pelvic fibroid obstructing your urethra, or perhaps, less likely, a neurological source like multiple sclerosis.

Either way, please get an evaluation by a urologist or urogynecologist, who can help diagnose, and treat your problem.

I have urinary retention from scar tissues from several surgeries.
Sometimes I feel nothing but when I do go i feel awful pain as the bladder starts to release urine. Trickles them firm streams.....take me about 20 minute to pee each time.
I am a woman and they actually gave me flomax for a bit and it helped but can not keep it as a permanant med...it was kinda brutal but wicked cool dreams lol.

I am followed by a urologist and had a big stone blasted a few months ago...never felt any pain for that either.

If you still have yer female organs find a good urogynacologist and get some ureodynamic testing done.

It is not going to go away...at least in my case. Before my last suregry i had to do intermitant self cathing.....terrified all the time I would get some horrid infection. The surgeon was in there for a bunch of stuff having to do with adhesions and dendo but he did a bladder sling and things were cool for 2 years and now gradually losing ground,

Please get your gp to let you go to either type of doc and start finding out.
The test are not bad.....many non invasive.
I wish you guys the very best,
Chef

In regards to your response to the question, i can urinate, feel bloated or a slight burning sensation, that is how i know when i have to go.  i have never had any surgery of any kind....I cannot afford to have any more tests done...had blood work, ultra sounds done of my kidneys and bladder, way to expensive.  i only work part time and for minimum wage at that....live literally from one pay check to the other.... i am really getting tired of this.  i do however have high bloodpressure which is not in sync yet.  Trying different meds to get it down.  comind down slowly....I do not know what else to do.  thank you for your time, sincerely .   bhost
