HOCM and Vision Problems

by Rainey03, May 17, 2008 07:11PM
I have hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy and just spent a day at the Cleveland Clinic being evaluated.  I am symptomatic but nothing to ruin any of my days or anything.  However, I had my medication tripled by my doc at the Cleveland Clinic (from 25 mg. of Atenolol to 75) and now I'm feeling poorly.  Today, I started getting blurry areas in my vision while I was outside at a soccer game.  I immediately went to the urgent care and the doc told me there that he believes it's more because of a problem with allergy eyes/pinkeye that I've had for several weeks now.  I want to think that he's right but I would hate to think that he's missing something.  I HATE being on these higher meds.  Not feeling as well AT ALL.  Once 6:00 hits, I'm pretty much done for the day.  I remember this when I just started on the 25 mg. though so I'm hoping it levels out.
