joint pain

by cat123143, May 18, 2008 08:26PM
My 8 year old niece had all over joint pain and mild fever. Her right hip hurt but was not bacterially infected after taking fluid.  White blood count of 72,000 at hip. Blood work was negative for rheumatic fever and lyme disease.  20 days later with antibiotics pain still is continuing. Now she has fluid in her left hip. Warm baths help the pain.  What other tests can she take to find out how best to help her? At birth she had meningitis. At 1 year old she had Kawasaki disease.
Thank you. Nancy
