pain ankle pain

a heavy piece of metal cruised my ankle two weeks ago, i did'nt go to the doctors, but it brise up and now there is a aambrasion on my ankle and it fells like my bone is going to pop out of my skin.Could it be broken or ligaments?

You should consult a orthopedic physician and  get an evaluation done.The pain could be neurological or may be due to exertion or some tear.You should take rest,keep your foot elevated and can apply some topical gel and massage.Hot and cold packs can be applied.You need to take rest.
