My breast reduction

by eve04, May 19, 2008 07:15PM
I had breast reduction in 2000.  My breasts were left with absolutely no feeling, which was explained to me as possibility.  My left breast stayed very nice and round; on the other hand, my right breast did not.  The nipple is not round, I beleive that I will have to have it tattooed, and under my breast, well its concave.  Its from these "granade" looking bulbs I had to wear for draining.  I am very lucky to have found someone to love me the way I am, but deep inside, it really bothers me.  I have not seeked a professional's opinion for pure embarrassement.  I would like to know, can this be fixed?  Will I ever have feelings in my breasts again?

The shape issue can be repaired, but it is unlikely that you loss of sensation will resolve at this late stage.  It is worth seeing a plastic surgeon to evaluate your condition.
