My scenario's, advice appreciated

I believe I suffer from extreme bouts of OCD in regards to illnesses, mainly HIV. Though I also suffer from anxiety and depression aside from these fears. Recently I've had a no risk situation for HIV, yet cannot remove the irrational thoughts from my mind. I feel that when I drink alcohol in excess, it further hurts my OCD and anxiety issues in the following days. Even horrible sexual compulsions, and bad thoughts that I know are not a part of my personality enter my mind, and its extremely bothersome. Also at times, when I'm alone, I frequently talk to myself, not necessarily in a thoughtful way, more so a joking way, as a way to humor myself. Though I find it to be more repetitive then anything. I'm just curious on what medicines, and doses are preferred in these situations, as I'm also going to be starting CBT shortly. Thanks all.

I couldn't tell you what medicaton and doses, I have taken Lexapro and i has worked.  Alcohol does cause further OCD in my experience.  Therapy wouldn't hurt or talking to a therapist.  You would have to talk to a doctor on medications and doses.  It is starting to sound like you are at a time in life where you need to start retraining your brain with therapy and meds, Good luck
