Rash

Hello,
I have a recurring rash on the back of my left hand. It appears as a cluster - about 4 cm across - and lasts an hour or so. It comes a few times a week. It is red in appearance and consist of lots of pinprick dots. It does not itch and is not raised above the skin. I've had it for about 5 months and it has decreased in the amount of dots since it started.
Any ideas welcome.
