Suddenly dry?

Hello there. I'm 22 years old and have been on the pill for many years. I've never had any kind of problem with vaginal dryness until about three weeks ago. I noticed that I was dryer than normal during sex, and as a result I became incredibly tender afterwards and developed a yeast infection (I've read that the friction from dry sex can cause that?). Anyway, the yeast infection has cleared but for the past two weeks I've remained too dry for sex to be comfortable, and have no idea why it's started up. I'm too young for menopause, I've been on the pill for forever, so why now? Could it be because I just had my period two weeks ago after having none for three months? (I'm on Jolessa, so you have your period once every three months).
Any advice would be great, because as fine as lube is, I'd like to get my body back to normal.
