std testing and insurance company

heres my story... i got "the works" std testing in december and they game me the igm blood test for hsv and all results were negative. i found out on this site that igm tests are pointless. i just paid off what my insurance company wouldnt cover ($105) for the tests. now my doctors office sent me a letter for a "maintenance physical". im kind of worried now. can someone explain.

A maintenence physical would be cholesterol, blood pressure, stuff like that.  I don't think it has anything to do with this.

Did you also get an IgG test?  If you didn't, you should talk to your doc about doing that test at no charge.  For some back up, here are some links about the IgM test -
