A.( Broken Shoulder(Upper Humorus bone)Pain

I was assaulted. And my upper arm humorous was totally broken. The top of my arm basically came fully off and im gonna have to get a shoulder replacement in the near future. Now i have the brake held together by screws and plates. I been taking 300 mg of Gabapentin and 30 mg of cymbalta and ibuprofen 800 mg. It doesn't seem to work very well with pain. Should i go back on Oxycodone? Or is it a bad idea because of it being a narcotic drug?

I wouldn't say it is a bad idea cosidering what you have gone through and the pain you are in as a result. Consult your doctor about appropriate dossages and the long term issues with using it. There are also other options with pain killers or you can do combinations with pain killers consiting of narcotics being the least used ingrediant. Again consult your dr. If you don't have a pain specialist yet to help you deal with the pain you are having as a result of your assault try going to www.raceagainstpain.com to find a specialist in your area.

Hey Thanks for the comment cookie122. Yeah i think im gonna go on the narcotics again. Im gonna need to do something about the pain no matter what i have to do. My days go by to slowly now. Thanks again.
