irrgualar period?

im a larger girl im 21 yrs old. and i never got my period. i mean i do sometimes but maybe once a yr or three times a yr. i notice that when i start exercising or loosing some weight i start to "bleed" but im scared that since i never had a regular period i will hemorrage. it does not come out like normal girls periods it comes in clots i know it sounds wierd but it comes out like if someone were to hawk a loogie except its bloody and lots of it! . does anyone know some suggestions.

I do know for certain that athletic girls and larger girls tend to have either few periods to almost no periods. That's why when your weight went down you began to bleed. You will not hemorrage but if you feel scared you should share this info with your doctor and ask him or her how many pads per day is considered normal blood flow when flow is heaviest during the first few days of a period. You are young and you have no past history to indicate problems but all the same I wish you well and hope you seek out advise from your own doctor who is familar with you. Not to say any doctor here wouldnt be a great help too but you will want this in your medical record.
