Have been presribed Ambien for sleep

I have been precsribed ambien for sleep since the last month of my second trimester and now want to weane myself off before the baby is born...can anyonle help me with that? I am 34 weeks pregnant.

You are right in that you need to "wean" of this medication and not stop abruptly.   In cases like this, it is best to talk with either your doctor or  a pharmacist who can devise an appropriate tapering regime for you.  There are a number of factors that come into play regarding what type of dose cuts, and for how long, will be required during the weaning process so its best to get advice from a professional.
