lower left side pain

Hi, im 22 and for about a week now i have had this slight pain on my lower left side, near my ovary.  its slightly lower than where my ovary is located. it only hurts when i press on it, other than that i have no problems.  i dont have any problems during intercourse either.  does anyone know what this could be?

Hi,
it could be an ovulation pain which happens approx 14 days before your next period, or could you possibly have strained a muscle?. Sometimes a cyst develops and they can dissappear on their own after a couple of cycles , I would give it a week or so to see if it goes away , if not then I would your doctor to get it checked out. I know its difficult to stop checking if its still there , but try to stop pressing it as it will only irritate things more .
