Brain MRI interpretation

by ifred2000, May 21, 2008 01:41PM
The attached image are for a brain MRI after a cardiac arrest. All other MRI images are normal; however, the doctor saying only those two images show "ischemia". My questions are:

1) do those images show brain ischemia?

2) If yes, how's ischemia treated?

3) does ischemia indicates cells death or just damage?

4) What determines if a damage is reversible?

5) the areas affected by this ischmeia, what do they control in the body?
