anyone? PLease?
Dont panic! I know it's scary but when you get used to it and start to understand it abit better, it gets easier to deal with!
I personally haven't been given YAZ but i know of a lot of people that have. Think its one of the pretty standard drugs they prescribe at time of diagnosis. I was given metformin first off coz my blood glucose levels and insulin levels were all wrong (which is another side effect of PCOS in some cases - not necessarily all!) i haven't heard of it being dangerous anymore than any other drug is dangerous, obviously it has its side effects like everything else! did you consider asking for a second opinion on that one? Alot of people get metformin so I cant see how it's that dangerous! (i'm no medical expert tho!!) but it made me quite sick so i had to stop it. It doesn't affect everyone the same tho. As far as i know, when you want to start trying for babies you will be taken off YAZ - there will be a period of time they'll tell you after you come off it where your body will be getting back to normal - after that if you try to conceive and are not successful then they should give you some medications to help with that. Does that all make sense to you? Hope it's helped a little. Fire away with the other million questions you have.... if i can help with them too I will!
Take care
