ct scan to check for blood clot

by wa4ra, May 21, 2008 09:05PM
My Daughter's Father has been in the Hospital with Pneumonia and sepsis since wed, may 14th.  He is on a breathing machine and in ICU.  Since he went in they expect possibly "ARDS" (adult respiratory distress syndrome).  Which they state means even a longer recovery.  They did do a ct scan to check for a blood clot.  Does anybody out there have any info on what could be going on?  I really would like more info, and the hospital nurse's are being fauge about the information the give.
