Synthroid adjustment period??

by Karly122, May 22, 2008 05:42PM
Hi everyone...I just started .137mcg yesterday.  This is supposed to be my "optimal" dose, as my doctor and I found out a few months back that the .150mcg was too much.  Other problems I was complaining of were found to not be thyroid related. So, here I am again, starting this dose and something is scaring me about it.  I know that everytime my dose is increased or decreased, I go through this adjustment period.  It seems the medicine kicks in or stabilizes between weeks 3-4. But, before it stabilizes, I at times feel fatigued, or just "off",or dizzy, or like I'm in the twilight zone.  I was wondering what everyone else feels during their "adjustment" period, and how long til you feel like the medicine has stabilized?
Thanks,
Karly
