vulvar lichen simplex otc treatment?

by augeremt, May 22, 2008 06:42PM
my labia minora is purplish and elongated (extends past my labia majora) and for a while, used to itch a lot. i've stopped using anything that is powdered or scented and have been keeping my area down there clean and dry, as recommended. the itching has stopped but my labia are still purple and elongated.

is there anything i can do to make them return to their "normal" color and length (they used to be pink and shorter)? perhaps over-the-counter creams or something (i'm trying to stay away from getting prescriptions or medicines at all, really)?

thanks!
