URGENT: I think my son may be poisoned

by AussieinIndia, May 23, 2008 04:14PM
Please help. We live in India - right now we are in the middle of cashew fruit season.  My husband brought one home with the nut still intact.  My 11 year old son took the raw nut and chewed it once before spitting it out.  He is now very ill, complaining of headache, dizziness, body pain and has a 101 Fheit fever at the moment.  I have given him a tablet to ease the pain and reduce the fever.  It is very hard to get medical help in the middle of the night here.  Has he been poisoned?  How severe can it be?  What should I do?  Please help.  I am very worried.
