Bipolar and borderline

I have been diagnosed by no less than 6 doctors (from 3 different hospitals) as Bipolar. I'm on lithium for this also and will probably go on an anti-depressant as I'm really depressed still. But now I think I may have bpd also (I'm going to talk about it with my psych next week) because I have a tendency to develop ideal intense relationships and I usually get mad at my friends (to the point where I don't want to be friends with them anymore) over stupid things, plus all the other garbage. My question is, I've heard bpd can't be treated with medicine, is this true? And will lithium, since it's a mood stabilizer, help (I've only been taking it for a week now)?

From what I've read I have noticed that those with BPD do not think they have the disorder - it's always the other person. If you think you might be borderline, it is more likely that you are not - probably Bipolar is your correct diagnosis.
